Hello Neighbors,

This year the Meals & Social Team is asking our community to adopt a family for the Holidays.

We have selected a family from the National Guard Family Program to adopt.

You might ask, "Why a National Guard family?"

You may or may not know......when a parent is deployed their civilian employer is not required to continue to pay their salary or may pay a reduced salary. Their employer is also not required to hold their job upon their return from deployment. The family does receive a military salary during deployment but it is often not enough to cover a family's monthly expenses.

The National Guard Family Program helps support families during deployments or upon return when needed.

Our adopted family is a family of four children and their parents. They have given us a Wish List which is listed on this Sign-up Genius link.

Please sign up for one or more slots.

Please put wrapped gifts with the child's name on it or "For the Family" in the Collection box in the Common House by Dec. 16.

You may also give a King Soopers Gift Card or a Visa/MC Gift Card. Please deliver all Gift Cards to Shelly @ 1601. Do not put Gift Cards in the Collection Box.
